Turning
Points

Some moments ask to be marked. Not with noise, but with attention.

These portraits are created at times of change—personal, professional, or somewhere in between.

A transition. A decision. A reflection of who you are, or who you are becoming.

What This Work Is

Turning Points sessions are portrait experiences created to hold a moment in time.

They are not about performance or presentation, but about presence. The result is an image that feels honest, grounded, and lasting.

When People Choose This Work

People come to this work at different moments:

  • A career shift or new direction

  • A personal milestone or transition

  • After loss, change, or reflection

  • Marking a moment before moving forward

  • Simply wanting to be seen, as you are now

The Experience

Each session begins with a conversation.

We take time to understand what this moment represents for you—and how you want it to feel.

Together, we shape the details: location, light, setting, wardrobe, and tone.

The session itself is then calm and unhurried.

Direction is minimal, but intentional—allowing space for something honest to emerge.

These portraits can be created in the studio, in your home or workplace, or in a location that holds meaning for you—locally or elsewhere.

A session can take many directions.

Some sessions are more deliberate.

Some sessions are about connection.

Each session is different—shaped by the person, the moment, and what it holds.
